Venetian

Venetian is a braid made of high-tenacity polypropylene, a synthetic fibre that gives it good tensile strength and moderate elongation.

Its 16-spindle construction allows for excellent knot holding and the presence of the inner parallel core reduces the risk of the braid being crushed.

Available in diameters 2 and 3 mm, this floating braid has breaking strengths ranging from 60 kg for the thinnest diameter to 90 kg for the largest diameter.

The stabilising anti-UV treatment gives the polypropylene fibre good weather resistance.

It is supplied in 500 metre flanged reels.

The Venetian is suitable for Venetian blinds.

Thanks to the 8 solid colours in which it is offered (white, light green, pine green, beige, brown, dark brown, grey and black), it is also widely used for upholstery work, for decoration and for applications where high technical performance is not required.

In the field of fashion and costume jewellery, it is suitable for the production of necklaces, bracelets and key rings, items for which the bright colours of the Multicolor braid, which is structurally identical to Venetian, are particularly appreciated.
