Static 66

Static 66 is a top-quality braid with an outer braid made of high-tenacity nylon (polyamide) and an inner core with a twist-proof and heat-fixed kernel (double twisted) construction, which gives it excellent tensile strength with low elongation.

The 32-spindle granite processing (rough to the touch) ensures high abrasion resistance and keeps it soft and manageable even after intensive and prolonged use.

Available in 10.6 mm diameter, this static braid has a breaking strength of 2,700 kg.

The nylon outer sheath allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in flanged reels from 50 to 200 metre.

Static 66 has a high toughness and special processing that guarantees compactness, easy handling and at the same time offers low elongation and high abrasion resistance, making it suitable for technical and heavy-duty applications.

Available in white with contrasting black stripes, it is certified and conforms to the UNI EN 1891 type A European standards, making it ideal, in the industrial and construction sectors, for static and safety uses such as thawing, work at heights, life lines and as a static rope for caving.

In the accident prevention sector, it is used as an anti-fall and rescue rope and is particularly popular as a climbing rope due to its high static strength.

In the tree climbing and arborist field it is suitable as a work rope and for tree felling.
