Starter

Starter is a braid made of high-tenacity pre-stretched nylon (polyamide), a synthetic fibre that gives it high tensile strength, tear absorption and abrasion resistance with low elongation.

Its helical design allows for excellent knot-tying and keeps it soft and manageable even after intensive and prolonged use.

Available in diameters from 2.5 to 6 mm, this semi-submersible braid has breaking strengths ranging from 120 kg for the thinnest diameter to 550 kg for the largest diameter.

The high tenacity nylon outer sheath guarantees a long service life and high resistance to weathering.

It is supplied in 100-metre flanged reels.

Starter is a very versatile braid suitable for many sectors.

Thanks to the nylon fibre (polyamide), which provides great abrasion resistance and high tear absorption, it is ideal for starting outboard engines in the nautical sector.

Because of these special characteristics, it is widely used in gardening and industry as a starter rope for petrol engines (motor mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, pruners, chain saws, motor hoes, motor pumps, power generators and many other appliances).

Its high build quality and special helical processing also make it perfect for towing ski lifts in ski resorts and for all technical applications where resistance to wear and friction are essential requirements.
