Standard

Standard is a braid made of medium-tenacity polyester, a synthetic fibre that gives it good tensile strength and moderate elongation.

Its 16/24 spindle construction allows for excellent knot holding and keeps it soft and manageable even after use.

Available in diameters from 4 to 24 mm, this sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 230 kg for the thinnest diameter to 4250 kg for the largest diameter.

The polyester fibre allows for a long service life and good weather resistance.

It is supplied in flanged reels ranging from 100 to 600 metres in length, depending on diameter.

The Standard is a rather versatile braid suitable for many sectors.

In the leisure sector, it is perfect for tying all kinds of ropes, such as camping ropes, outdoor sports and for lifting light loads.

In the nautical sector, it is suitable for anchoring small boats and on-board equipment due to its good water and weather resistance.

In thinner diameters, it is also used as rope for wings.

Thanks to the availability in 2 colours (plain white and white with contrasting coloured stripes) and several diameters, it is also suitable in the construction sector for marking areas and signalling on building sites.

For common uses that do not require high performance, Standard braid represents the right compromise between quality, price and reliability.
