RoundLine MT

RoundLine MT is a braid made of medium-tenacity polyester, a synthetic fibre that gives it good tensile strength with moderate elongation.

Its 12-lignet construction makes it easy to splice and keeps it very soft and manageable even after use.

Available in 12, 14 and 16 mm diameters, this sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 1,500 kg for the thinnest diameter to 2,700 kg for the largest diameter.

The polyester fibre allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in flanged reels in lengths varying from 150 to 200 metres, depending on diameter.

RoundLine MT, thanks to its special structure that makes it strong but at the same time soft, flexible, turn-proof and easy to splice, is ideal in the nautical sector for mooring and anchoring small boats and for fitting out jetties.

Due to its softness and resistance to weathering, it is widely used as a handrail for inflatable boats, replacing the classic polyethylene braid which, when exposed to the sun and weather for long periods of time, tends to stiffen and break causing possible cuts to the hands.

The elasticity and flexibility of its construction, together with its pleasant, modern grey colouring, make it particularly popular in the furnishing sector for window dressing, cladding, handrails and room design.
