RoundLine HT

RoundLine HT is a braid made of high-tenacity polyester, a synthetic fibre that gives it excellent tensile strength with low elongation.

The kernel (double twisted) processing of the 12 lignes with opposing and balanced anti-twist twists makes it easy to splice, guarantees high wear resistance and keeps it very soft and manageable even after intensive and continuous use.

Available in diameters from 8 to 32 mm, this sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 1,700 kg for the thinnest diameter to 13,700 kg for the largest diameter.

The polyester fibre allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in flanged reels ranging from 100 to 200 metres in length, depending on diameter.

Thanks to its special structure, which makes it very strong but at the same time soft, flexible and easy to splice, RoundLine HT is ideal in the nautical sector for mooring and anchoring boats of all sizes and in larger diameters even large yachts.

The elasticity and flexibility of its anti-spin construction allow it to absorb wave motion stresses while reducing those transmitted to the boat.

The 3 colours in which it is produced (white, black and navy blue) are very popular for fitting out piers and make it suitable in the furnishing sector for window dressing, cladding, handrails and ambience creation.

In thinner diameters it is used as rope for wings.

Thanks to its toughness and abrasion resistance, it is also widely used in the industrial and construction sectors for securing and lifting heavy loads and for use with pulleys and hoists.

Compared to the SeaMaster HT twisted rope, it remains very soft and flexible even after intensive and prolonged use, and at the same diameter offers a significantly higher breaking strength than SquareLine HT braid.
