PortSide

PortSide is a double braid made of prestretched high tenacity polyester for the outer braid and medium tenacity polyester for the inner braided core, a construction that gives it excellent tensile strength with moderate elongation.

Its 16/24 spindle processing guarantees excellent abrasion resistance and keeps it very soft and manageable even after prolonged use.

Available in diameters from 5 to 20 mm, this double sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 450 kg for the thinnest diameter to 4,600 kg for the largest diameter.

The high tenacity polyester outer sock allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in flanged reels from 100 to 300 metres in length, depending on diameter.

PortSide is a very versatile double braid, suitable for multiple uses.

Thanks to its construction, which offers excellent strength and moderate elongation, it is ideal in the nautical sector as a rope for mooring and anchoring small, medium and large vessels, for on-board equipment and for fitting out jetties.

In thinner diameters it is used as rope for wings.
