PolyTwist

PolyTwist is a twisted twine (twisted cord) made of heat-fixed high-tenacity polyester, a synthetic fibre that offers excellent breaking strength and abrasion resistance with low elongation.

Its 3-link structure makes it flexible and manageable and ensures an excellent knot hold.

Available in diameters from 0.9 to 1.3 mm, this sinking twist has breaking strengths ranging from 32 kg. for the thinnest diameter to 53 kg. for the largest diameter.

It is supplied in packs containing four reels of 250 grams each.

PolyTwist, thanks to its twisted structure that makes it resemble a very thin rope, is ideal in the industrial sector for binding, packaging and use on tensile structures.

Manufactured in various diameters and endowed with high toughness and abrasion resistance, it is also widely used in the upholstery industry for technical mattress stitching to be carried out manually or with automatic machines, as it is equipped with a heat-setting treatment that prevents the individual items from opening during cutting.
