Plissé is a braid made of high tenacity pre-stretched nylon (polyamide), processed in 16/24 spindles with an inner parallel core, with a compact and very dense weave.
These peculiarities give it excellent tensile and abrasion resistance with low elongation.
Its special workmanship allows an excellent knot holding and the presence of the inner parallel core reduces the risk of the braid being crushed.
Available in diameters from 0.7 to 2.1 mm, this semi-submersible braid has breaking strengths ranging from 35 kg for the thinnest diameter to 105 kg for the largest diameter.
Nylon fibre ensures high resistance to weathering.
It is supplied in 200 metre flanged reels.
