Olympic

Olympic is a braid made of high-tenacity polyester, a synthetic fibre that gives it excellent tensile and abrasion resistance with low elongation.

Its 16/24 spindle granite (rough to the touch) processing allows excellent knot-holding and keeps it manageable even after heavy use.

Available in diameters from 3 to 8 mm, this sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 180 kg for the thinnest diameter to 1,200 kg for the largest diameter.

The high tenacity polyester outer sock allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in 200 metre flanged reels.

Olympic has a high toughness and compact processing that guarantees very little elongation, making it suitable for multiple uses.

In the nautical and leisure sector, thanks also to the various diameters and colours in which it is made (white with black stripes, plain black and black with various contrasting coloured stripes) it is ideal as a halyard for small boats, dinghies and windsurfers.

In the advertising sector, these special characteristics are appreciated for attaching banners, banners and tarpaulins, and in industry it is widely used as a rope for tensile structures, for packaging and for use with small pulleys.

In the theatrical field it is suitable for the creation of sets and lifting of wings, skies and backdrops thanks to its adherence and silence in the sliding phase on pulleys.

For the same diameter, it offers less elongation compared to double polyester braids built for the same uses, providing greater stability in use.
