OldStyle

OldStyle is a twisted rope made of high tenacity polyester staple, a synthetic fibre that makes it very resistant to both tensile strength and UV exposure.

Its 3-link structure makes it easy to splice and offers a perfect balance between strength and flexibility, keeping it manageable even after use.

Available in diameters from 8 to 30 mm, this sinking rope has breaking strengths ranging from 950 kg for the thinnest diameter to 13,500 kg for the largest diameter.

It is supplied in flanged reels varying in length between 100 and 200 metres, depending on diameter.

OldStyle, thanks to its hemp-like colour and the woolly appearance of the special fibre from which it is made, is the perfect substitute for natural fibre ropes as it does not rot in the weather and does not require any maintenance, guaranteeing maximum grip and hold both wet and dry.

Because of these special characteristics, it is particularly appreciated in the interior and exterior furnishing sector: ambience creation, set design, cladding, window dressing, staircase handrails, wharf fitting, area delimitation, handicrafts, objects and decoration of vintage boats.

Thanks to its high tenacity and low elongation, it is suitable for nautical fittings, boat equipment and mooring.

Compared to the SyntHemp twisted rope, OldStyle provides greater tensile strength and resistance to UV exposure.
