LightBraid is a braid made of high-tenacity polypropylene, a synthetic fibre that gives it good tensile strength and moderate elongation.
Its 16-spindle construction allows for excellent knot-tying and keeps it soft and manageable even after use.
Available in diameters from 4 to 12 mm, this floating braid has breaking strengths ranging from 240 kg for the thinnest diameter to 1,300 kg for the largest diameter.
The stabilising anti-UV treatment gives the polypropylene fibre good weather resistance.
It is supplied in 200 metre flanged reels.
