HempWax

HempWax is a twisted rope made of top-quality flax yarn (often called hemp), a natural biodegradable fibre that makes it soft and manageable but at the same time quite strong.

Its 3-ply structure makes it easy to splice, while the light colour and uniformity of the fibre, coated with natural paraffin, give it a smooth, compact and elegant appearance.

Available in diameters 4, 5 and 6 mm, this rope has indicative breaking strengths ranging from 150 kg for the thinnest diameter to 350 kg for the largest diameter.

It is supplied in flanged reels varying in length between 300 and 600 metres, depending on the diameter.

HempWax is suitable for the furnishing sector: room design, decoration, set design, upholstery, window dressing, handicrafts, gifts and decorations where a natural fibre product with a neat and compact appearance is required.

It is totally biodegradable, which makes it perfect for use in naturalistic environments and wherever the utmost respect for the environment is required.

Thanks to its excellent resistance and its special coating, this rope is also certified for food and wine uses, being suitable for direct contact with food.
