HempStyle

HempStyle is a twisted rope made from premium flax yarn (often called hemp), a natural biodegradable fibre that makes it soft and manageable yet very strong.

Its 3-lignol structure makes it easy to splice, while the light colour and wooliness of the fibre give it a pleasant appearance to the touch and to the eye.

Available in diameters from 8 to 70 mm, this rope has indicative breaking strengths ranging from 689 kg for the thinnest diameter to 31,200 kg for the largest diameter.

It is supplied in flanged reels and in rolls varying in length between 50 and 300 metres, depending on diameter.

HempStyle, with its pleasantly retro look, is very popular in the furnishing sector: room design, set design, upholstery, window dressing, staircase handrails, area delimitation, handicrafts, gifts and decoration of vintage boats.

It is totally biodegradable, which makes it perfect for use in naturalistic environments and wherever the utmost respect for the environment is required.

In sports, its excellent strength, moderate elongation and softness make it suitable for tug-of-war and as a climbing rope in gyms.

In addition, thanks to its innate flame-retardant properties that allow it to burn very slowly even when placed in direct contact with fire, it is suitable for the installation of stage sets, lifting of wings and backdrops in theatres and fire-fighting equipment.
