FloatLine

FloatLine is a braid made from polyethylene, a synthetic fibre that gives it excellent tensile strength and low elongation.

Its 12-spindle construction allows for excellent knot-tying, makes it easy to splice, and despite the absence of an inner core, it remains perfectly round even when pulled.

Available in diameters from 4 to 16 mm, this floating braid has breaking strengths ranging from 100 kg for the thinnest diameter to 1,900 kg for the largest diameter.

The polyethylene fibre provides excellent resistance to abrasion and UV exposure.

It is supplied in flanged reels from 100 to 500 metres in length, depending on diameter.

The FloatLine is a very lightweight braid that finds application in several areas.

In the nautical and leisure sector, thanks to its innate water-repellent properties and buoyancy, it is ideal as a safety rope for life jackets, diving and water-skiing balls, as well as for mooring and anchoring dinghies and small inflatable boats.

In swimming pools it is used for delimiting lanes and in the open sea for marking navigation routes with marker buoys.

Its availability in 4 colours (white, yellow, orange and black) and different diameters make it very popular in the construction industry for marking out areas and signalling on construction sites.
