Atlantic

The Atlantic is a high-quality double braid made of prestretched high tenacity polyester for both the outer braid and the inner braided core, a construction that gives it excellent tensile strength with low elongation.

The 16/24 spindle granite processing (rough to the touch) with counter-balanced anti-twist twisting of both the outer sock and the inner braided core makes it splicable with medium difficulty, guarantees high abrasion resistance and keeps it soft and manageable even after intensive and prolonged use.

Available in diameters from 3 to 12 mm, this double sinking braid has breaking strengths ranging from 250 kg for the thinnest diameter to 3,200 kg for the largest diameter.

The high tenacity polyester outer sock allows for a long service life and excellent weather resistance.

It is supplied in 200 metre flanged reels.

Atlantic has a high toughness and a compact construction that guarantees a very low elongation, making it suitable for multiple uses.

In the nautical sector, thanks to its various diameters and white colour with various combinations of contrasting stripes in which it is made, it is ideal as a sheet and halyard for cruising boats.

In the industrial and construction sector it is widely used as a high-quality rope for tensile structures, for fastening and lifting heavy loads and for use with pulleys and hoists.

The 4 bright and solid colours in which it is made (hemp, grey, blue navy and black) are particularly requested in the theatrical field for the creation of sets and lifting of wings, skies and backdrops thanks to its adherence and silence in the sliding phase on pulleys.

This double braided rope is suitable for all those technical applications where maximum reliability, a great tear absorption capacity and high wear resistance are essential requirements.
